Jonathan Cox
Biography:

Jonathan's drama career, in truth, started from birth. Always willing to make a scene and lots of noise it was clear that he would never shy away from the spot light.

Jonathan first took to the stage aged about 4 in annual variety performances at the local church and took on many roles ranging from the Marshmallow Man (Ghostbusters) to a stand up 'comedian'. Later on Jonathan tried his hand at pretty much anything to get on stage and make an impression. Such appearances included dancing to pieces such as YMCA, performing almost the Full Monty and various other dances, singing acts and tomfoolery in the name of charity and 'entertainment'.

Jonathan's first appearance in a full show, however, didn't occur until he was 21. Having been coerced into auditioning whilst under the influence, his first show was Jesus Christ Superstar, when he appeared as a Disciple (John!) and 'The Nemesis'. Since then Jonathan has appeared in the Chorus for Carousel, briefly as Max Kirkov in Ten Times Table and Slim in Oklahoma!. His first principal role was as Cyril in Summer Holiday in 2006 and was followed up by performing as Mr Noah Claypole in our recent production of Oliver and as a chorus member in Annie with Watford Operatic at the Palace theatre.

Skills: Playing the trumpet, willing to try just about anything, singing, dancing ??, acting.
